We currently have Zoom SDK built into our trade show platform as a video communication tool. We would like to guide customers through 360° rooms via screenshare. Unfortunately, the frame rate is not good. Can we set the streaming “optimize for video” or adjust something in the settings?
Hey @munis,
Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. The frame rate of a camera in the Web SDK relies on a variety of factors including the capabilities supported by the camera and compute/network resources.
I’m happy to help troubleshoot these performance issues you’re seeing but, assuming a 360 camera has a high resolution, the issues may be related to the processing power or bandwidth required to use the camera at a high frame rate.
I just have a couple of questions to get us started:
-
What camera are you using when you see this issue?
-
What is the approximate frame rate that you’re seeing?
-
What device is hosting the meeting?
-
Is the frame rate low for the host, participants or all users?
-
Have you tested enabling SIMD support
Thanks,
Max
