Get chat messages sent before user joined

If a user joins the session, does he have access to chat messages that were sent before he joined?

Thanks for your feedback.

The user cannot send a chat message before he joins the session. In the VideoSDK Web, there is status checking within the APIs.

Thanks for the response.

I didn’t mean to send a message before joining. I meant get/read the messages sent by others before he joined.

In my understanding, you mean to get the existing messages before the time the user joined the session, is that right? As the messages are not persistent, we cannot offer you a way to obtain the previous messages.
