■Prerequisites
When I called the API using an OAuth app, I received the following response:
“You have exceeded the daily rate limit (400) of Meeting Create/Update API requests permitted for this particular user. You may resume these requests at GMT 00:00:00”
■Inquiries
①The API documentation(https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/rate-limits/) states “100 create/update requests per day (UTC) per user,” but the response above mentions “the daily rate limit (400).” Has the limit been changed from 100 to 400 requests?
②When was this change implemented? Please provide the changelog or other documentation regarding the change.
③Is this change permanent, or is it temporary?
I’d appreciate it if you could confirm.
@suzunosuke.miyahara the default rate for this is still fixed at 100.
There are instances where some of these are raised at the request of customers, for example to cater to scheduling apps. The message which you have gotten, might denote that the account has its rate limit increased to 400.
@chunsiong.zoom
Thank you for your response.
We have confirmed that an error response is returned after 400 requests, so there is no doubt that the limit has been raised to 400. However, since we have never requested an increase in the rate limits from our tenant, we are wondering why it has been raised. Would it be possible for you to check our tenant information to determine the circumstances under which the limit was raised?
