High Level Approach Help

Hi All,

I’ve been tasked with creating an integration between the HaloITSM platform and Zoom to achieve the following scenarios:

  1. Create a button within Zoom Chats that allows selected users (IT Support) to create a ticket and auto-populate with some of the chat messages
  2. Embed the Halo Portal web page in the Zoom client.

Now frankly I am well out of my depth as a basic scripter.

I’d love to know if this is something that is commonly done, or if anyone is able to provide a high-level approach to how this can be achieved.

For example, would I need to build some middle-ware application that communicates between Zoom and Halo, or could this be achieved purely by reaching out to Halo API (which thankfully is quite robust)?
