How to set receiving video quality to be lower like 360p

Description
WebSDK currently uses webassembly, and cpu usage is high when decoding video from native client’s screensharing or webcam.

Is there a way to receive downscaled video? like 144p, 240p, 360p.

Hey @tailinchu,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. At this time, the Web SDK only supports an output of 360p. We are working to provide 720p output in an upcoming release but I understand that this won’t help when it comes to the CPU usage issues that you are encountering, this is related to a known issue which we are actively investigating and have tentatively planned a fix to be released in version 1.9.0. Please keep an eye on our release notes for updates to when that is released. We are planning to release that version in early Q1 of 2021.

You can find more information on this below

Thanks,
Max

thanks!

If you have any test builds, please let me know. I am “very” eager to test that.
