Dear Zoom Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
We are currently facing an issue with our service account that is impacting our ability to sync data. Below are the details:
Service Account Permissions
Our service account has the following permission scopes:
user:read:adminmeeting:read:adminwebinar:read:adminchat_channel:read:adminreport:read:admin
Recent Changes
We recently ended our webinar plan with Zoom, and I suspect that this change might be causing some of the sync failures we are experiencing.
Error Details
During our sync process, we consistently encounter the following error message:
{“reason”:“We couldn’t sync 1 out of the 1 primary endpoint(s). We were unable to sync data for the following tables: [USER_IM_GROUP, USER_GROUP, MEETING_REPORT, MEETING_REPORT_TRACKING, MEETING, USERS, USER_CUSTOM_ATTRIBUTE, MEETING_REPORT_CUSTOM_KEY, MEETING_PARTICIPANT]. Error details: {[URL: /users]: Server is not responding with correct response after specific retries and giving status code [400] and status message [{"code":3161,"message":"Your user account is not allowed meeting hosting and scheduling capabilities."}]}”,“status”:“FAILURE”}
Inquiry
We would like to understand the following:
- Why does our service account require hosting and scheduling capabilities when we are only attempting to read data from the endpoint?
- Are there any additional scopes or permissions required for our service account to successfully sync data without encountering this error?
We appreciate your assistance in this matter and look forward to your prompt response.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Ram
