Instant Meeting Vs Scheduled Meeting

Description
In Zoom meeting, a user account has a Zoom meeting URL which one could click on “New Meeting” from thick client and start a meeting. One can pass the URL external to zoom (chat/email…etc) and
others can join this meeting. I don’t see this meeting in past meetings or retrievable via API

If I schedule a meeting via client/web/api, I can get this meeting retrievable via client/web/api. Is there a difference between Instant meeting vs Scheduled meeting?
