Is it expected that Zoom MCP Server only returns meetings attended by the authenticated user?

We are currently using Claude to test the Zoom MCP server.

While Zoom allows access to recordings other than my own, Claude only returns meetings attended by authenticated users.

Is this the intended behavior of the Zoom MCP server?

Since the MCP server does not require administrator scope, is it only exposing meetings attended by authenticated users?

hi @joycaltest ,

You only see what you would see as that user.
The most easy approach is to test IRL

If a user requests the data, they will get the meetings they ran, And in this case I would expect any that they could get access to others that are shared with them.

You would have to be an admin app with admin credentials to be able to access data from other users.

It is that simple. The IRL should match what code can access.
I hope that helps
