Hello Everyone,
We are in the process of changing over from JWT App type to Server-to-Server Oauth. Upon reading the FAQ’s and migration articles, I am unable to find answers to what I am writing this topic in this forum for. I am hoping someone could help, please.
I have created the new Server-To-Server Oauth app type and I am wondering:

  1. if we activate it, will it affect the current JWT app type?
  2. Do we have to first deactivate the JWT app type and then activate the Server-to-Server Oauth app?

Those are great questions and I am happy to help here!

If you activate a Server to Server Oauth app, it won’t affect your current JWT integration

  1. Do we have to first deactivate the JWT app type and then activate the Server-to-Server Oauth app?

You don’t have to. You can have both apps working at the same time and they won’t affect each other. I would suggest to keep your JWT app working until you fully test and integrate using Server to Server Oauth
