We have the Zoom LTI Pro enabled and connected to our Canvas instance. I would like to add the ‘Only authenticated users can join meetings’ tick box to the list when a Teacher is scheduling a new meeting in Canvas. Currently we can see:
Require meeting password
Enable join before host
Mute participants upon entry
Use Personal Meeting ID
Enable waiting room
Record the meeting automatically
If a user schedules a meeting from zoom.us the option is available.
How can I add this option to the LTI Pro in Canvas?
Ultimately I would like all users to be logged into the Zoom desktop client before they connect to one of our Canvas scheduled meetings - this then populates the Zoom Meetings API with their email address and allows us to check who is attending sessions and who is not.
@tommy - Do you know how soon this will be implemented (days, weeks, longer)?
Also, is meeting templates or an ability to remember preferred meeting settings something that is also going to be implemented in the Zoom LTI Pro app?
