Manual Domain Validation Request — Executive AI Assistant (replit.app)

I am submitting my app “Executive AI Assistant” to the Zoom Marketplace and need manual domain validation. My app is hosted on Replit’s managed cloud platform at https://ai-assistant-talhalodhi123.replit.app

The domain registered in the Marketplace is replit.app, which is Replit’s shared infrastructure domain. I do not control the root DNS of replit.app — Replit (the hosting provider) owns it — so automated HTML file verification and TXT record methods both fail.

I have hosted the Zoom verification file at the subdomain I do control:

Requesting manual domain approval to proceed with app submission.

How To Reproduce:

  1. App type: User-managed General App (OAuth 2.0)
  2. On the App Submission page, click Verify next to replit.app
  3. Select “Upload an HTML file to your domain” — verification fails because Zoom checks https://replit.app/ZOOM_verify_...html (root domain), not our subdomain
  4. Select “Add TXT Record” — fails because we cannot modify DNS for the root replit.app domain
  5. Error: domain verification cannot be completed via automated methods for apps hosted on Replit’s shared platform
