I am writing to address an issue with the Zoom API that we are currently using to create meetings.
It has come to our attention that the join URLs generated by the Zoom API have an expiration time of only 2 hours, whereas the join URLs generated by using the Zoom client directly have an expiration time of 1 month .
We understand that this discrepancy can cause inconvenience to our users, and we would like to ensure that all join URLs generated by the Zoom API have a longer expiration time of 1 month.
Could you please advise on the correct way to use Zoom API to generate join URLs that will be valid for a month?
We would greatly appreciate any guidance or documentation you can provide on this matter.
Currently, our team is in need of setting up a Zoom meeting using the Zoom API for a meeting that will take place in a week’s time .
However, we are facing an issue where the meeting becomes invalid or expires after two hours .
We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue and ensuring that the meeting remains valid until the scheduled date and time .
Could you kindly advise us on the necessary steps to take or any specific configurations that need to be set up to prevent the meeting from expiring prematurely?
Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.
