The locked down app I am developing requires absolutely NO controls for the user in a meeting. Cannot mute, cannot turn off camera, cannot record, share, chat, etc. I have all that covered.
However, I still need the Leave button available.
What are the options I need to enable for that to happen?
Thanks for the post and pardon the late response. If you are using Zoom default UI, and you would like to disable the controls, you could use:
MeetingOptions.no_bottom_toolbar to be true: https://zoom.github.io/zoom-sdk-android/us/zoom/sdk/MeetingOptions.html#no_bottom_toolbar
MeetingOptions.meeting_views_options with the attributes in
MeetingViewsOptions(https://zoom.github.io/zoom-sdk-android/us/zoom/sdk/MeetingViewsOptions.html) such as:
MeetingOptions.meeting_views_options = MeetingViewsOptions.NO_BUTTON_AUDIO + MeetingViewsOptions.NO_BUTTON_VIDEO +...
Hope this helps. Thanks!
Yes, I finally found all that in the SDK documentation and now have it done.
The one thing I noticed is that when the meeting starts, all the “hidden” screen elements are there initially, and while they do not appear to be active, and disappear very quickly, it would be good that they did not appear in the first place.
Perhaps a request to the SDK developers to look into?
Thanks for the reply. Yes, based on the info provided, we are able to identify an issue with hiding the UI elements. We will fix this in the next release.
