We all know the first sentence that presenters say in any given meeting: “Can you see my screen?” I find this more than annoying and I’d like to suggest a technical solution.
How about if I as a presenter could see what my own screen sharing looks like from the point of view of a Zoom call participant? As people who share their screens frequently for presentations, we’d be happy to get some app feedback on what the audience can see.
I ran into an issue today where I shared my screen in a webinar of more than 400 people, my slides were advancing perfectly, but after a while I got a message that my slides were not advancing for the audience. They just got stuck on my first slide, while I though everything was ok.
Please consider some kind of feedback loop for presenters. Not having to hear that famous first sentence of nearly every Zoom presentation would be making the user experience much more enjoyable.
