Optimizing Zoom for Remote Scientific Research Teams – Our AI-Powered Biotech Workflow

Hey Zoom community!

I’m part of a biotech team working on AI-driven drug discovery through a platform called Ardigen.. Our team is fully remote — scientists, ML engineers, and researchers from different time zones — and Zoom is central to how we collaborate.

How We Use Zoom in Our Scientific Workflow:

  • Weekly sync-ups with researchers across 4 countries
  • Screen sharing to review AI model outputs & molecule predictions
  • Live data annotation using shared whiteboards
  • Integrated Zoom recordings for scientific documentation & compliance

Looking for Ideas:

  1. Has anyone here used Zoom’s SDK or APIs to embed meetings inside custom platforms?
  2. Any best practices for managing research documentation through Zoom-integrated workflows?

We’re also testing a new feature in Ardigen that lets users view real-time insights during Zoom consultations. Happy to share what we learn if others are working on science or AI collaborations too.

Thanks in advance!

hi @linger ,

This answer does not need apis.
I am making ever more use of the meeting summeries, I often now share them with all meeting members.
Screen sharing - conside sharing via Zoom Docs. This is then a collaorative platform
I often take transcripts and feed them into my LLM for future query
Zoom workflows could be a great way to connect in the future

all the best
