Currently the program seems set to auto switch to HD for users when sufficient bandwidth is detected, this leads to an immediate change to the screen ratio to HD wide, this is frsutrating for those users who by reason of thier environment can only present an “acceptable” background with the original narrow screen view.
There should be an option to prevent this automatic switching from taking place, which should be under the advanced video settings (something akin to “Lock screen ratio”) or similar. I have tried changing the video rendering as was suggested elsewhere, but this did not have the desired effect.
It is entireley infuriating to set up with a normal default ratio only to have it switch when you are in the midddle of a talk to wide screen with all the distractions that can cause.
