Playing audio through a TV during video calls

Description
Is it possible to play audio through a TV for Zoom video calls when the phone is connected via HDMI or screencast over WiFi?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 and I display the devices’s screen on the TV for video calls using Zoom. However, I cannot get the audio to play through the TV, it continues to play through the phone. I believe this is because the audio output during video calls is mono and I cannot find a way of playing this through the TV.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Connect phone to TV
  2. Start a Zoom call
  3. The audio will play out of the phone speakers and not the TV

Did you ever find a solution to this? My s10 does the same thing.
