I’m running into a domain validation issue when setting up a new Marketplace app, and I believe it may be related to a previous app that was lost during an account migration. I’d appreciate any help or insight.
Background
I originally created a Marketplace app under my personal Zoom account and successfully completed domain validation via DNS TXT record for my company domain at that time.
Later, I changed my account’s login email to my company domain address and joined my company’s Zoom team (organization account). After joining, the original app completely disappeared from my Marketplace dashboard — it is no longer accessible anywhere.
Since we could not recover the original app, we created a new app from scratch within our company’s team account.
Current Issue
When attempting to validate our company domain for the new app via DNS TXT record, the “Value” field that should contain the TXT record value is empty — no value is provided for us to add to our DNS settings. Without this value, we cannot complete the domain validation process.
My Suspicion
The same domain was already validated via TXT record on the original app (which is now inaccessible due to the account migration). I suspect that this previous domain validation may be conflicting with the new app’s validation attempt, causing the system to not generate a new TXT record value.
In other words, Zoom’s system may recognize the domain as “already validated” under the old (now orphaned) app, and therefore does not issue a new validation value for the new app.
What I’ve Tried

Confirmed that the DNS TXT record from the original validation still exists in our DNS settings

Attempted domain validation for the new app multiple times, but the Value field remains empty each time

Is it possible that a domain validated on a previous app (which is now orphaned/inaccessible after account migration) is blocking new domain validation for the same domain on a different app?

Can Zoom support release or remove the domain validation tied to the original (lost) app so that we can re-validate the domain on our new app?

Is there any workaround to obtain a valid TXT record value when the Value field appears empty?
