I would be great if you could set a Vacation Auto-reply for Team chat. Similar to an email auto-reply. It would be even better if this could be linked to an existing Vacation responder (such as set up in GMail, perhaps via API)
Our organization uses Team Chat to communicate internally. If someone forgets to set their Zoom status to “out of office” or they forget to manually set up a status message there is no indicator that they are in fact on holidays. This can be very frustrating.
Individuals who email will receive an indication, but if we use Team Chat you may either,
A. Receive a response from someone who felt obligated to reply instead of enjoying their time off.
OR
B. Not receive a response and think that the individual is neglecting their duties.
(as an example)
