Sidebar or Pop-up during Phone Calls

I am new to Zoom app development so am looking for guidance on what is possible.

I want to develop an app which can query a CRM system to find customer details related to the current caller/callee number, and then display the data within the Zoom Workplace app either in a sidebar next to the call controls (similar to live transcription does) or as a pop-up window.

Is there any capability to display something like this during a phone call using the Zoom workplace app, or will a third-party tool/client be required for this?

If it’s possible, could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Will this work specifically for the Phone part of Zoom, not the Meeting part? It would need to automatically appear, not requiring the user to navigate to it.

I’ve seen apps which appear automatically during meetings but I’ve not yet come across one that does it during phone calls so I just want to be sure before going down the rabbit hole.
