Hey friends
I’m working with Make com to connect the Zoom API and automate with Zoom.
Everything was working fine and there were no problems until suddenly I started getting a 401 error message like this -
[401] Forbidden
What can I do?
My user is authenticated and everything should work as it should.
I wish it was possible to attach photos or make a video here, but for some reason it’s not possible and it’s blocked here (absolute nonsense!)
I have a process in Make that receives a webhook when a recording is uploaded to the cloud, then it downloads the recording, puts the recording on the drive and deletes the file from the cloud.
Suddenly one fine day I started getting 401 forbidden from the step of downloading the video from the cloud.
God bless!! Why the hell can’t I upload links or pictures here!?!? How can you help someone here like that at all!
I renewed the connection, and made sure that there is no password on the download URL and still when I make an HTTP call to download the file itself I get [401] Forbidden
why why why why??? Can anyone give support to this huge company??
Hi @vip sorry that you are experiencing these challenges. Can you please answer my earlier posed question so I can better see how to help?
Additionally, I will private message you so you can share the pictures, links and Zoom recording of the issues you’re experience so I can gain a clearer picture. You will see the link for the private message in your notifications.
I am having the same issue. I have the automation split into two different paths and 1 path works, the other gives me the error code “[401] Forbidden”. It was working fine until October 21st.
@gianni.zoom No updates that were around that time range that I am aware of. It works, but only 1 path in the automation. The other it gives me the Forbidden error.
Hi @ryan-mp can you submit a support ticket through make.com? The automation is not made by or supported Zoom so it’s not something most of our developer staff is directly familiar with.
Some things on the Zoom side to check is if any permissions or account/user settings have been changed. Double check the scopes for the endpoint and verify nothing has changed on the scopes in the app marketplace.
