Unable to map meeting registrant id with live participant id

Hi @tommy,

One of our participants encountered a problem while joining the zoom meeting.
The participant was trying to join through the unique join link.

A window pop up was being shown as she tried to join.
She also wasn’t able to get the OTP on the phone number.
Switching the device fixed the issue.

Do we know any possible reason behind this?

Are you using one of our SDKs, or just the Zoom Native App?

This is related to verifying phone numbers when joining a meeting. Was this a China Zoom user?
Did she try verifying her phone number?

She was using just the Zoom Native App. She wasn’t a China User also.
She tried verifying her phone number with correct country code too, but didn’t get any otp.

All our participants join meetings through Zoom Native App, this case of phone verification hasn’t occurred before.

Also, she was able to join using the same link on a different device though.

Was she logged in by chance? Also where is she located, and do you know where her location settings in the Zoom Web Portal are set to? The phone number verification is usually just a feature in China.
