Unsure how to proceed with app verification after opting out of Beta

I received a “App Beta - Insufficient Evidence” response on my app submission ticket. I replied in the thread confirming that I do not want to participate in Beta and that I’d like to proceed with an Unlisted app submission instead.

However, I’m not sure if my replies in the ticket thread are sufficient to move the process forward, or if there is a specific action I need to take to submit an update for review. The ticket is currently marked as “Acknowledged” but I have not received further instructions.

Could you please clarify what the next steps are to get my app approved as Unlisted?

hi @Felippe

Great to see you thinking about the marketplace. ITS would be a great product to add.
You can not submit your app for use by others unless you go through the submission process. This is to protect users of your app.

Making your app unlisted does not allow you to avoid the process because you will still be making your app available to other users, and Zoom wants to check what data you have and how you will use it.

We are already in contact, so if you want to chat with me about this, then I can help as I am a dev champion for Zoom. I also have been through the process myself. And would be great to talk with you.
All the best

The app is marked as approved, but is still pending

Hello @Felippe can you please confirm the name of the app?

Hello, @Felippe I found the app; it’s ready for approval. There is one thing missing: you need to change the app name to remove Zoom from it. This is a new initiative put in place; we want to reserve the use of “Zoom” in the app name for first-party apps built by Zoom only.

Thank you! Just did it
