I developed a Web Meeting SDK ComponentView implementation, allowing our webinars to be viewed from our website. Registration is required for our webinars, and we password-protect them. And we have no use for waiting rooms.
We are facing an issue with users who join the webinars prior to when the host starts it.
Example:
- A 10:00 AM webinar.
- User A tries to join the webinar at 9:55 AM. They correctly receive a “Webinar not started“ message, from the component.
- The webinar host starts the Webinar at 9:59 AM.
- User A isn’t automatically joined into the webinar after it starts at 9:59 AM. You can tell the component attempts to join. But it ultimately fails.
- But, the user will be able to successfully join the webinar, if they reload the page.

QUESTIONS:
- Is there something I should develop for, to handle join attempts when you try to join prior to the webinar starting? Any links to examples/solutions would be appreciated.
- Is there any other suggestions that could be recommended? We don’t need/want to verify admittance. So waiting rooms won’t fit, unless there’s an auto-admittance feature available.
