Web Meeting SDK Version 2.3.5

Hello Zoom Developers, here are the updates for the Web Meeting SDK version 2.3.5 release

Added

  • In Component view, the option to also share audio when screen sharing a Chrome tab

Fixed

  • Missing participant poll button in the sample app
  • “react not found” issue

Enhanced

  • Increased customerKey max length to 36 characters

Known issue

On Chromium, video stops playing and goes black when resolution changes to or from 720p. This is caused by a bug in Chromium, which is due to be fixed in Chrome 101, scheduled for release at the end of April.

To work around this, you may reduce resolution below 720p. Alternatively, if you’d like to continue using 720p, you can recommend that your users toggle their video resolution when they experience this issue; for example, by adding a toggle button or messaging to the user.

You can also see the update listed on our Changelog: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/changelog

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi there! Is there any way to get webhooks using the SDK App type?

Hey @sarkis ,

Great question, not at the moment, but please stay tuned.

Should users sign in 2 times? 1 time with SDK App oAuth credentials and another with oAuth App credentials?

Without that, we can’t know when the user leaves the meeting

Also, webhooks are required for deauthentication to work properly

can anybody answer my question?

Hey @sarkis ,

We are working on the Webhooks + deauth for the SDK App type.

Stay tuned.

Thanks,
Tommy
