Zoom call ended if user opens a different app during call

Description
Zoom call automatically ended if the user opens a different app in the mobile device while the zoom call is in the background.

Which version?
Zoom SDK Version: 5.4.3.603

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Place a zoom call from User A to User B.
  2. User B: accept the call and wait for it to completely connect.
  3. User B: Put the app/zoom call in the background by tapping the home bottom.
  4. User B: open a different app on the device(ex. Play Store, Browser etc…)
    Result:
    Zoom call is ended automatically with MeetingEndReason as END_BY_SELF

Smartphone:

  • Device: Pixel 3, Realme2pro
  • OS: Android 10.0

We have not been able to reproduce this issue when joining a meeting. Can you please clarify on how you are “accepting a call” through the SDK?
