Zoom meeting deleted but can still join?

Hi all

Using an API to pull details of current zoom meetings and write new ones. Building an app that utilises this and synchronises zoom meetings onto a separate database. As a failsafe it needs to be able to recover if the zoom meeting is deleted and create a new one. Hit a problem - if I delete a zoom meeting the API still returns that it is a valid meeting.

i’ve deleted the meeting and also deleted it from recently deleted folder but the API still says it’s a valid meeting - I can even join it still. Any clues? Does zoom cache meetings afterwards for a period of time?

Kind regards

Chris

Hi @Christopher10 , how interesting! I am unfamiliar with this behavior. Can you please provide me with the following info in a private message?

  • meeting id/uuid
  • client id of app you’re using to access API
  • screenshot showing API that meeting is successfully deleted
  • screenshot showing API showing as valid
  • zm-tracking-id from response headers of both responses

Thank you! You’ll see the private message in your notifications.
