Hi Zoom Developer Team,
I would like to ask whether this behavior is expected by design or if it may be a bug.
We are using Zoom Auto Dialer together with Zoom Phone Smart Embed in our CRM.
What we observed is:
- When Auto Dialer places a call and the call is connected, Zoom Phone Smart Embed does not emit events such as
zp-call-ringing-event - During the call, the Zoom Phone Smart Embed panel also shows no visible response or status change
- After the call is hung up, we can receive
zp-call-log-completed-event
So from Smart Embed, it seems that:
- no ringing / connected / in-call related events are received
- no call state is reflected in the embedded phone panel
- only the final call log completion event is received after the call ends
My question is:
Is this the expected behavior when using Auto Dialer with Zoom Phone Smart Embed?
Or is this a bug / limitation?
We would like to confirm whether Smart Embed is supposed to reflect Auto Dialer call states in real time, or whether Auto Dialer calls are intentionally excluded from those events and UI updates.
Environment:
- Zoom Phone Smart Embed
- Auto Dialer
- CRM embedded integration
