ZoomGov JWT Credentials Not Authenticating During Transition From Zoom

Our company is transitioning from Zoom to ZoomGov. I’m trying to authenticate using a newly created JWT app I created in the ZoomGov marketplace.

The current JWT application works fine with the curent token/secret combination. But using the newly created (ZoomGov) keys do not work. I have tried testing the zoomgov credentials in the postman app testing suite, it doesn’t authenticate there either.

Error code 124

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?

Can you please send additional details on how you are creating the access token for JWT at developersupport@zoom.us?


I created the token for Postman in the marketplace on the page where you can generate a temporary key.

I also went to JWT.io and checked a few things about the token I generated locally in code.
