Adding Alternative host for existing recurring meeting

I have a recurring Toastmasters International meeting every 2nd and 4th Thursday. I cannot attend this week and wish to have an alternative host but Google help is not understandable [I am totally computer literate]. Please … does anyone have a simple 1,2,3 instruction that works?

Could you please share with me how are you trying to add an alternative host? Are you using our REST API? or are you doing this through the Web Portal?
