Api for in-meeting chat

Took a look at the webinar/meeting API docs and didn’t see anything mentioned about controlling the in-meeting chat on behalf of someone. I.e. be able to send a message on behalf of someone or view messages real time in a meeting/webinar.

I’m looking to extract the chat text from a webinar and want to display it on an external monitor outside of the meeting for those who are in a physical room.

Is there by chance a hidden API that would allow me to do this?
