I am trying to submit my application for review and I keep running into the error “Intend to Monetize” must be enabled. I can’t find a single piece of docs that matches that string on the zoom developer website and I don’t see that on the settings for my application anywhere. I have connected my stripe account for good measure but I DONT want to monetize my application. We are building a meeting recorder extension that is just built into our platform.
I tried raising a support request but it’s asking me to spring for a premium developer account. Can someone kindly assist how do I get past this and submit a free application for review? FWIW I have even filled in a “Free” monetization plan.
So once you turn on the monetization option, you cannot turn it off; if you have the ability to create a new app, you can try that, but I would need a Loom video explaining the blocker to understand what’s going on.
(can’t share links in zoom forums so add the https and replace | with backslashes, sorry)
As you can see I have a free plan, I don’t want to monetize at all. This is coming up after I was able to submit the app the first time for a review and I got feedback on my application. After addressing the feedback, I am unable to submit it further and it keeps getting stuck on the last screen.
I’m also stuck on this issue. I need to update my app to exclude EU (since zoom has defaulted it to on) and I would not like to create and go through the entire application approval process again due to a limitation (bug) in monetization.
How can I submit this change without recreating my app? I’m unable to publish any change with the error: Intend to Monetize must be enabled.
