But I think the answer is out of date, because I know you can get separate audio recordings for each participant.
So my question is whether or not the default audio recording (single recording for all participants) breaks down the audio for each participant into their own channels ?

Thanks for reaching out about this, and good question. To clarify, the default audio recording (single recording for all participants) does not break down the audio into different streams, per participant. This is returned as one audio file.
