How good is Zoom at ensuring their API’s for meetings are backward compatible?
I am working on a project for a software company and I am recommending building a Zoom meeting integration component. I need to understand the cost of ongoing support with ensuring the component continues to work with each new release of the Zoom API’s.

Good question! We make great efforts to ensure that our updates do not introduce any unexpected or breaking changes. We also document each of our releases with detailed specs on what has changed:

If we ever have a required update that could affect an existing integration, we will send out developer communications well ahead of time and advertise them in our repos and on our forum.
