We want to selectively use RTMS, for our meetings, based on the needs of that meeting.
All of our meetings are scheduled / hosted by accounts that we control.
Our intention is to add the same “auto-start” RTMS app to every account.
Upon receipt of a meeting.started event, our system will determine whether RTMS is needed for that meeting (using the meeting id).
Upon receipt of the meeting.RTMS_started, our system will request the desired RTMS stream, if needed.
For those meetings that don’t need any RTMS features, our current plan is to not respond within the allotted 30 seconds, and trigger the meeting.RTMS_stopped event.
Is there a better way to do this? (like an immediate No response, of some sort…)
How would this impact billing? (do we get billed for the RTMS events or only when we consume an RTMS stream…)
