Can we get Zoom Phone Call Summary through Zoom Phone API?
Hi @axel1 , what type of summary? Like of the contents?
Otherwise, we have call log phone event: Zoom API Events - Zoom Phone
And the recording event: Zoom API Events - Zoom Phone
These are not a direct summary of the call contents though.
Hi @gianni.zoom , I want to get the summary, that is created by AI Companion in zoom phone. But in API Documentation I didn’t find anything related to it. Can you help me out?
Hi @axel1 , the phone API endpoints for summary are not yet available. You can get it manually.

Hi @gianni.zoom , This is a huge requirement for many of our customers (i.e we are Zoom Partners) as they want to integrate this into CRM tools. We are being told by customers that SF.com has it but we don’t believe this is accurate information as if the end point to get it isn’t available how could this be possible? When can we expect and update on the availability of getting the AI summary.
Hi @positive.results @axel1 looks like this is on track for release by this summer. I’ll update if the timeline moves up.
This is great news. In the meantime, we have been handling it by capturing the call transcript and then using our own AI to process a call summary and then adding it to CRM automatically. It would be faster to just get the call summary from Zoom.
