Cannot type on Chat panel, message input is not getting focus

Description
Whe user opens the chat panel, upon clicking on the message area to type a message, it does not activate and user cannot type. You have to click on a very specific small area (a padding on a div that’s parent to the input), so then it would get focus.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join a meeting
  2. open the chat panel
  3. try to type a message

Device (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Macbook Pro
  • OS: big sur
  • Browser: Chrome 110

Additional context
tested both on local and secured (https) environments
