Chatbot zoom app installation issue, fail to appear in zoom client

Im testing a chatbot app to be installed locally, I can say i managed to install the app successfully but seems its not appearing on the zoom client.

im expecting to see the newly installed chatbot app here,

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?

  • Chatbot

Which Endpoint/s?

  • using the dev endpoint

How To Reproduce (If applicable)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. following this guide:
  2. ive reinstalled/installed more the 5times already.
  3. I should be expecting to receive the welcome message and see the app installed successfully.
  4. zoom client re-login several times ( technique i use before ).


  • my role is “admin” ( this is the only role i know capable of installing chatbot app )

Can you confirm that your bot has at least one /slash command?


I havent added one @will.zoom,.

by the way can we have a technical support to be called over or screensharing with me?

my company goal is we are going to release a first zoom app before year end.
