Yes, when we auto-create a meeting with default set of break-out rooms and participant assignments. Any new participants joining can’t see the default break-out rooms and join those break-out rooms and the only way to achieve this is by clicking the meeting settings and choosing the option to allow participants to join rooms (but this requires to close the breakout rooms and then open them back again!)

The meeting API provides this as an option to allow any new participant (not just pre-assigned once) to be able to join the rooms (the default seems to be don’t allow)

Close all the break-out rooms, go to the settings and choose the options “allow participants to join rooms”
