Meeting SDK Type and Version

  • Meeting SDK @zoom/meetingsdk version 6.1.0

Description

  • Users can now set their virtual background from the Meeting SDK settings.
  • From the Admin dashboard, users have always been allowed to upload their own backgrounds.
  • When I access the “Virtual Background” option from the “Settings” window of the Zoom Meeting SDK, I see: “You cannot upload images due to restrictions placed by your admin”

Troubleshooting Routes

  • Verified that the user is allowed to upload custom backgrounds in the Admin dashboard

How To Reproduce

  1. Enable “Custom Background Upload” via Admin dashboard settings
  2. Launch a Zoom meeting via the Zoom Meeting SDK
  3. Go to the “Settings” ->“Virtual Background”
  4. Hover mouse over “+” button.
  5. You will see the error listed above
