Customized waiting room is not showing up for API created meetings

The organisation I’m working for has an account level customised waiting room for their meetings.

When meetings are created via the API by an user also created via the API (“custCreate”), I cannot see the customised waiting room. Is there a way to customise the waiting room for those meetings?

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. First, I would make sure that the account level setting is locked so that it isn’t changed with the creation of the custCreate user.

If that doesn’t help, you can set the waiting_room field from the Update User Settings API:
