CustomUI does not work with Windows Meeting SDK v5.7.6.1081

Description
After an update to 5.7.6, our application receives the wrong status (ENDED instead of CONNECTION) for the meeting after joining, this was working correctly prior to 5.7.x

This works correctly Custom UI is disabled.

Which Windows Meeting SDK version?

I am seeing similar behavior, but only when the meeting I am trying to join has a waiting room enabled. To ensure that we’re both looking at the same issue, can you verify whether or not the meeting is using a waiting room?

We reviewed our meeting creation code, we do not use waiting rooms, it’s set to false explicitly.

Thanks for confirming that you are not using waiting rooms. To rule out meeting-instance-specific issues. can you also check whether or not this is reproducible with the SDK sample app?
