Hey @mihai.temian,
Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. My understanding is that this is expected behavior as entering a breakout room is seen as joining another meeting so we want to make sure that the participant has the option to explicitly enable their camera.
I have a feature request in with our engineering team to review this functionality but I don’t have a timeline or confirmation as to if/when this will change.
