Extending meeting expiration

Description
We are a school and we schedule meetings for the entire semester for several classes. Recently, our teachers cannot access their meetings due to an error message that reads “Meeting link does not exist.” While reviewing the documentation, it seems that a new feature from zoom has been introduced and adding 30 days expiration.

Can we extend this 30-day expiration date through the API parameters?

Error
Invalid meeting ID

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?
Zoom App with OAuth

Which Endpoint/s?
Knowing the API endpoint/s can help us to identify your issue faster. Please link the ones you need help/have a question with.

How To Reproduce (If applicable)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. We generate meeting 3 months in advance for the entire semester
  2. We check the links are all open properly
  3. Later down in the semester, a few months, the links point to an error message “Invalid Meeting ID”

Thank you for your time.

Hey @VANAS,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. Please see our guide here covering meeting expiration if you haven’t already:

As long as the meeting is less than 30 days past the last meeting then it should still be valid. If that doesn’t help, please reach out to our Support Team.

Thanks,
Max
