As a Zoom admin, I find it time-consuming and error-prone to manually configure group settings for each new group I create. The settings are extensive, often spanning multiple pages, and it is frustrating to repeat this process for every new group, especially when consistency is required across the organization.
Describe the solution you’d like
I would like to have the ability to create, save, and apply group templates within the Zoom admin center. These templates should allow me to set up base configurations that can be applied to new groups, ensuring consistency. After a group is created using a base template, group admins should have the flexibility to customize non-essential settings to meet specific needs. Importantly, this feature should be separate from account-wide settings, as those have too high of an impact and are not suitable for the level of customization needed in this scenario.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
I have considered manually documenting group settings and applying them to each new group, but this method is inefficient and prone to inconsistencies. Another alternative is using scripts or third-party tools to automate group creation, but this adds complexity and may not integrate seamlessly with Zoom’s admin interface.

This feature would greatly improve efficiency and reduce the administrative burden of managing group settings. It would also ensure that essential settings are standardized across the organization while providing group admins with the flexibility to tailor additional settings as needed. Separating this functionality from account-wide settings is crucial to prevent unintended impacts on the broader organization.
