I have the current problem where we are using Zoom phone, and Public Holidays can change depending on our users and which Australian state they are working out of. If the user changes business units, or starts working from another state, it would be great if there was a way we can add/remove/change the holidays via an API so that we can hook it into calendar source and set users/queue holidays in an automated fashion.
Describe the solution you’d like
Just looking for a Zoom API which would allow me to Insert Holidays, Query holidays set, Delete specific holiday entries, or delete all holiday entries (in line with the other APIs that are present), so that we can automate updating the holidays for Zoom Phone Queues and User specific holiday settings.
Describe alternatives you’ve considered
Because of the variable nature of State holidays changing, or National holidays, it’s not viable to just hook into a calendar. This may work for an individual user, but won’t work for a call queue. It may also be cumbersome for Zoom to curate a set of Holidays and for us to add it as a set as we may want to modify the set. Not to mention keeping track of all holidays (not just Australian ones, but globally).
