As Chromebooks and chromeboxes become more mainstream, it would be nice when I use a Chromebook to be able to take the call in HD if the hardware supports it. Google meet handles this flawlessly. The PWA has become great, and is frustrating that you can have equipment that can take advantage of higher resolutions but the PWA doesn’t support it.
I would love if there was an option to turn on HD on and off. If performance or a device can’t handle it, then allow the option to turn it off.
The alternative is Windows or Apple, which a few years ago that made sense, but with more powerful and capable Chromebooks this makes less sense to require going to another device.
