HDS compliance for Zoom Video SDK in a French healthcare application – contractual requirements

Hello,

We are developing CardioPluriel, a French healthcare application for remote cardiac rehabilitation, and we would like to use Zoom Video SDK for individual and group video sessions between healthcare professionals and patients.

We have confirmed that Zoom’s HDS v2 certificate no. 1557558-1 explicitly includes “Zoom API & SDKs” within its certified scope.

Our question is therefore not about the technical SDK or the HDS certification itself, but about the contractual requirements before using Zoom Video SDK with real French patient health data.

Under French HDS rules, a compliant hosting contract is required between the healthcare data host and its customer.

Could someone from Zoom please confirm:

  • whether a standard Zoom Video SDK account is automatically covered by the required HDS contractual framework;
  • or whether we need a specific HDS addendum, Order Form, account provisioning, or Healthcare agreement before production use;
  • and, if something additional is required, how a French Video SDK customer can obtain it.

We are already able to integrate and test the SDK with fictitious data. We only need to know what must be completed contractually before using it with real patients.

If possible, could someone from the Zoom Video SDK / Healthcare / EMEA team please clarify this or route us to the appropriate internal contact?
