How to add Zoom contact from Zoom ID?

I have a friend’s Zoom ID, But I don’t know which email address he’s using for zoom. How do I add him as a contact using just his Zoom ID? Zoom is asking for an email address and doesn’t seem to accept Zoom IDs as a method of adding contact. (So then What’s the point of a Zoom ID if you can’t add contacts with it?)

Anyway, is there a way to add contacts using their Zoom ID?

The user ID of a Zoom user is for identifying that user in our APIs or within our system. In order to add a contact, you’ll want to have their email. If you continue to have issues please reach out to our Technical Support Team.
