How to Configure Firewall to Allow Only Zoom Client Access to my Zoom App?

Description

I’m currently working with a Zoom App and need to publish this app within a public domain.
I need to configure the home URL for the Zoom App so that it is accessible only by the Zoom client and blocked for any other types of requests at the network level. I’m looking for guidance on how to set up the firewall to achieve this.

  • How to block all other traffic at the network level while allowing the Zoom client to access the home URL?
  • Are the IP ranges provided in this doc Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings useful and sufficient?

Error?

No specific error message, but I need to ensure that the security setup is correctly blocking unauthorized access while allowing the Zoom client to communicate.

Troubleshooting Routes

I’ve reviewed the following resources:

  • Zoom Developer Docs
  • Zoom network firewall or proxy server settings

How To Reproduce

  1. Configure a Zoom App with a home URL within an internal network.
  2. Attempt to access the home URL using the Zoom client.
  3. Attempt to access the home URL using a web browser or any other tool.
  4. Verify that the Zoom client has access while other requests are blocked.
